Hi, I’m Peter, and I’ve done a lot! Maybe too much. Hard to tell at this point.

- I was in the Navy for six years where I learned Chinese and did secret things.
- I traveled around North America and Europe to understand the folks making online educational videos, and see if I might help them somehow.
- I dabbled in photovoltaics to pay the bills, then went to grad school to become a librarian.
- I used to make online videos about libraries and information science because the profession is rad but not necessarily great about marketing itself.
- I was a public librarian with a special passion (and dare I say knack) for children’s services and working with patrons in languages other than English
Nowadays, I work as the head of Library Services for a nonprofit that builds and maintains digital public libraries of Open Educational Resources.
